Powertrain protects the core drivetrain: engine, transmission, and drive axle. Gold adds steering, suspension, electrical, cooling, fuel, A/C, heating, rental car reimbursement, trip interruption protection, and transferability.
Most plans include a short 30 day / 1,000 mile waiting period from the contract date for pre existing condition protection. Coverage activates immediately for components not subject to that limit.
Yes. The Gold plan is fully transferable to a private buyer. Powertrain plans are not transferable.
